We are all affected by the recent outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, as well as the recommendations by the CDC to engage in social/physical distancing, and enhanced preventative measures. As a result, most current events have been cancelled or postponed.
To accommodate our clients effected by the virus, we have waived all cancellation fees, and offered flexible date selections. When the peak of the storm passes, people will once again want to come together to enjoy entertainment and participate in fun activities, and we will be ready to acccommodate their requests to the best of our ability.
Of course this return to a free flowing marketplace will require confidence in the event producers, and staff, who must continue to support the protective measures we are currently following to remain safe. Many of these measures were already being followed at our events before the current pandemic, and will continue. These include hand sanitizing stations at each event, as well as disinfecting wipes. Large groups skating hand in hand is discouraged, and skates will continue to be disinfected after each use. Additionally, more skate helpers will be added to reduce the amount of touching needed to assist skaters, and these units will be wiped down regularly after use.
Despite current events, we are encouraged by the number of clients who continue to move ahead with plans for their future events, and who have been reserving late summer, fall as well as holiday season events. We share your optimism, and appreciate your business as we forge ahead to the future.
We are aware of our need to be flexible during this time, and to ensure that we are able to deliver the confidence clients need to pursue the potential of future events, especially in the face of uncertain times. We believe that we can achieve this goal because of our commitment to our clients, and desire to be a good business citizen.
Clients are encouraged to contact their Chill representative to learn more about the company's COVID-19 mgmt plans to ensure the flexibility to respond to the environment, and make the right choices to keep our people and the public safe. Together we can ensure that everyone has the confidence to move ahead, and are assured that resources will be used wisely, and be ensured that they will be ready to host a quality event at the appropriate time.
